Who We Are

For over 50 years, the Creative Arts Parent Association, CAPA, has been committed to supporting the visual, musical, and dramatic arts programs at Wayland High School. Our volunteer group of parents and guardians raise funds and promote awareness of Wayland High School’s calendar of fine art events, musical and theater performances.

Funds are used for enrichment grants, visiting artists and musicians, classes, field trips, and competitions not covered by the school budget. A CAPA group meets every month at WHS. We invite you to come and join us or consider volunteering for an event from our calendar! Visit our Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest CAPA news.

Visual, musical, and dramatic arts programs help students develop skills that transcend their high school career. Students develop creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills. This art education foundation can only happen if the necessary budget and funds are available to meet the demand. Please consider making a contribution to CAPA! Thank you.
