Golden Tones chorus is a Wayland-based nonprofit arts organization that for 25 years has provided a creative endeavor for retired people who take their music into the MetroWest community, 50 shows per year, serving over 2,000 people, many who would not otherwise have live music in their lives (nursing homes and other senior residence and health facilities). Our work also involves audiences and school-age children.

Together with Stephen Murray and the Wayland Middle School Select Chorus, and Wayland resident WBZ-TV’s Todd Gutner as Master of Ceremonies, the Golden Tones Chorus Silver Jubilee will be a wonderful afternoon of musical entertainment, perfect for Father’s Day, with costumes, dancing, lights, and comedy. The post-show afterglow features the swing sounds of Sudbury Valley New Horizons Jazz Band (Diane Muffitt’s players) and sweet treats! Don’t miss the barbershop quartet in the “lobby” before the show! Kicking off Wayland’s 375th anniversary year, this event promises to be fun for music-lovers of all ages.
