About CAPA

CAPA champions creativity and connection through the fine arts at Wayland High School.

Wayland’s Creative Arts Parent Association (CAPA) is a volunteer-run nonprofit that supports the visual, musical, and dramatic arts by raising funds, promoting events, and strengthening partnerships among families, educators, and school leadership. From performances and exhibitions to behind-the-scenes learning, we help shine a spotlight on the creativity thriving across WHS.

Through community generosity and hands-on involvement, CAPA funds programs and resources that go beyond the school budget. Visiting artists, specialized equipment, field trips, competitions, and student recognition all help bring learning to life and encourage students to explore, take risks, and grow as artists.
